Your new role
Responsibilities include:
- Provide guidance to the wider organisation on procurement practice
- Utilise Scottish Procurement Frameworks to ensure regulations are followed
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage suppliers and negotiate contracts
- Support the Procurement Manager in day-to-day duties
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have:
- Worked in Scottish Public Sector Procurement (essential)
- Excellent communication skills
- A commitment to continuous professional development (CIPS qualified or working towards)
- Familiarity with procurement IT systems
- Experience with Quick Quotes and OJEU procurements
