Interim Procurement, Category Manager
On the back of long-term internal secondment, this is an exciting opportunity to join the established Procurement function of this non-for-profit organisation based in Nottinghamshire. Available on a hybrid working basis with only 1 day per week required in the office, this role will take ownership of a range of construction and operational spend and will make a tangible difference to this organisation.
Working with a high degree of autonomy across a broad stakeholder base, this role will manage and execute a variety of projects and tenders and will also play a key role in supporting business planning activity; providing procurement expertise to internal stakeholders; and driving relevant procurement activity from end to end.

Demonstrable public sector procurement experience is required with exposure to construction related projects essential. PA23 trained, you will ideally be experienced in working with NEC contracts, however this is preferred and not essential.
With strong influencing and relationship building skills, you will be able to demonstrate how these have been applied and successes achieved in working as a business partner with key internal stakeholders and equally in driving strategic partnerships with suppliers. A self-motivated and positive approach to work is a pre-requisite with a strong customer focus also required.
