Procurement Officer, Procurement Manager, Commercial Manager

A leading public sector housing provider is seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to deliver a responsive, high-quality, and commercially focused procurement service. This role is central to delivering the organisation’s procurement programme and supporting its corporate strategy through effective business partnering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement projects in compliance with internal policies and public sector regulations.
  • Ensure contracts meet statutory requirements including PCR 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023.
  • Manage supplier relationships and support contract management across business groups.
  • Maintain the contracts register and provide supplier appraisal insights.
  • Deliver commercial negotiations and support divisional commissioning needs.
  • Produce accurate reports for senior leadership and contribute to procurement risk management.
What We’re Looking For

  • MCIPS qualified or working towards certification.
  • Strong experience in public sector procurement, ideally within housing or similar environments.
  • Proven ability to manage procurement programmes with stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent knowledge of procurement legislation, standards, and best practices.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Commitment to values such as compassion, inclusivity, and dependability.
