Your new company
An established Cambridge-based commercial organisation is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager – Facilities Management (FM) to drive strategic sourcing and supplier performance across a diverse estates portfolio. Initially available on a 12 month fixed term contract hybrid working is available with just 2 new days per week in the office. This is a high-impact opportunity to lead on FM spend, optimise supplier relationships, and deliver best-in-class procurement practices within a dynamic and growing environment.

Your new role
As Procurement Manager, you will take ownership of all Facilities Management procurement activity, ensuring value, compliance, and operational excellence across hard and soft FM categories.
  • Leading end-to-end procurement for FM services, including sourcing, tendering, and contract negotiation
  • Managing supplier relationships to drive performance, cost efficiency, and service quality
  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned to business objectives
  • Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, contracts, and relevant regulations
  • Monitoring spend, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and delivering measurable value
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and support operational needs
  • Managing contract performance, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supporting sustainability and ESG objectives within the supply chain
What you’ll need to succeed
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or Category Manager with defined responsibility for FM spend
  • Working knowledge of hard and soft FM services, supplier markets, and contract structures
  • Demonstrable success in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and cost optimisation
  • Experience managing complex contracts and driving supplier performance
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical and negotiation skills
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with senior stakeholders
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
