My client is a SME manufacturing organisation that is currently going through a restructure where they require a Procurement Manager for a three-month fixed term contract.Your new role
- Identify, assess, and negotiate with prospective suppliers, while managing these critical relationships.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide strategic advice.
- Analyse market trends and industry best practices to identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective measures when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations throughout all sourcing activities.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven procurement experience, with a strategic approach to sourcing vendors or suppliers.
- Resilience in achieving ambitious targets and the ability to respond positively to setbacks.
- Skilled in analysing complex information to create clear and communicable solutions.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- CIPS qualifications are preferable.
