Your new role
As a Procurement Governance & Vendor Manager, you will be reporting into the Finance Director and tasked to lead the procurement function across the group, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements. You’ll manage vendor relationships, monitor the application of the procurement policy, and oversee travel management processes. This is a strategic and hands-on role, where you’ll drive cost efficiencies, lead tender processes, and support system enhancements. You’ll also play a key role in training staff and reporting to senior stakeholders. The initial crux of this role revolves around governance and supplier due diligence, supporting the rationalisation / optimisation of the supplier base.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven procurement experience in financial services (insurance preferred)
  • Strong vendor management and policy compliance expertise
  • Familiarity with UK and EU regulatory frameworks (e.g. DORA, FCA, PRA Etc.)
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with procurement systems
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
  • A collaborative, data-driven, and results-focused approach
