Location: Central London (Hybrid working, with a maximum of 2 days required in the office)
Day Rate: £350-£500 per day
Recruiting for a leading charity based in Central London, dedicated to making a significant impact through our various programmes and initiatives. They are currently seeking a highly experienced Procurement Consultant to join our team and support their change and mission.
Role Overview
The Procurement Consultant will play a crucial role in redesigning and optimising the charities' procurement processes. This role involves spend analysis across broad categories, including operational spend, programme spend (grant making and core business), and strategic procurement for event management and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Spend Analysis: Conduct comprehensive spend analysis across various categories, including operational spend and programme spend.
• Strategic Procurement: Manage procurement for event management, operational spend, and specific projects such as venue spaces and preferred hotels.
• Event Management: Oversee event management for big internal meetings and global event planning services.
• Driving Organisational Change: Lead initiatives to drive organisational change, consolidate processes, and improve efficiency.
• Stakeholder Management: Manage internal relationships around change, bringing clarity and communicating effectively to support business decisions.
• Post-Transitional Role: Provide support in a post-transitional capacity, ensuring smooth transitions and continuous improvement.
• Contractor Scouting: Proactively scout and manage options for contractors to support with event management.
What you'll need to succeed
• A strong background in spend analysis and strategic procurement.
• Proven ability to manage internal relationships and drive organisational change.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bring clarity and support business decisions.
• Experience in event management and global event planning services.
• Based in the UK, with the ability to work in Central London as required.
