Procurement Manager , Procurement Officer

We are seeking a Commercial Category Manager to join this expanding Commercial Function. This role involves managing a pipeline of procurement activity across corporate services, including consultancy, recruitment, legal, audit and benefits. You will lead end-to-end sourcing processes, develop procurement strategies, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a pipeline of procurement projects, collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Develop procurement strategies and tender documentation.
  • Manage tender periods, evaluations, and contract drafting.
  • Support transition from sourcing to contract management.
  • Provide governance and compliance support.
  • Analyse spend data and market insights to inform decisions.
  • Drive sustainability and risk management within the category.
Essential Criteria
  • Proven experience managing complex procurement pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of Public Contract Regulations (PCR2015) and Procurement Act 2023.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • MCIPS qualification (or working towards).
