Your new role

As
Procurement Capability Lead – Category Management, you will be responsible for defining and embedding a global framework for category management across the organisation. You will lead the development and execution of category strategies, ensuring alignment with business priorities and procurement transformation goals.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including sourcing, contracting, analytics, and learning & development to drive capability adoption and performance uplift. Acting as a subject-matter expert and coach, you will support strategic initiatives and enable procurement teams to deliver best-in-class outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading the end-to-end category strategy development and implementation.
  • Establishing and embedding global category management frameworks.
  • Driving agile ways of working and digital enablement.
  • Supporting capability building and continuous improvement across procurement delivery teams.
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent methodology and measurable impact.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • 10+ years of procurement experience, with expertise in strategic sourcing, global category management, and complex contracting.
  • Proven leadership in global, matrixed environments.
  • Strong understanding of procurement systems, processes, and digital tools.
  • Experience in agile methodologies and change management.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and coaching skills.
  • A degree in business, supply chain, or a related discipline.
