A Senior Procurement Manager

Our client is seeking a senior Procurement candidate to lead a large team. The role is hybrid and based in the office in Newbury 3 days a week (likely more at the beginning) and will pay up to £80K. Our client is within the Public Sector.

  • The role will involve leading the procurement & commissioning teams, including the range of services and projects contained within these
  • Contributing to the production and delivery of the strategy, vision and values
  • Leading on the development of policy and strategy at service level to achieve strategic aims
  • Acting as the Principal Advisor on procurement and key areas covered by the Team.
  • Providing effective leadership and management of the team.
In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have had at least 10 years of procurement experience and have managed large teams (6 people plus).
You will be a fully qualified expert in the field of either Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS)
You will live within commuting distance of Newbury, Berkshire
Ideally, you will have some public sector experience.
