Your new company
You will be joining a well-established organisation based in Walsall, operating within a structured and fast‑paced environment. The business is currently experiencing increased activity within its procurement function and requires temporary support to ensure continuity and accuracy across purchasing and supplier administration.

Your new role
As a Temporary Procurement Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to the procurement team, ensuring purchasing processes run smoothly and efficiently. This is a hands‑on role well suited to someone experienced in procurement or supply chain administration who is comfortable working with high volumes and tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Raising and processing purchase orders in line with internal procedures
  • Maintaining accurate procurement and supplier records
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding orders, pricing, delivery schedules and invoices
  • Supporting the reconciliation of purchase orders against invoices and delivery notes
  • Assisting with procurement reporting and general administrative tasks as required

This role is office‑based in Walsall and is offered on a temporary basis, with the potential for extension depending on business requirements.

What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Previous experience in a procurement, purchasing or supply chain administration role
  • Confidence using procurement systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when processing orders and data
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
  • Excellent communication skills when dealing with internal stakeholders and suppliers
