A Process/Project Engineer role at an FMCG manufacturing organisation based in the North West

Your new company

A leading manufacturing organisation is looking to appoint Process and Project Professionals across two key UK sites as part of a continued programme of investment and operational improvement. These roles offer the opportunity to contribute to major engineering, automation and process development initiatives within a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

Your new role
Working as part of an established engineering team, you will support the delivery of process optimisation, capital projects and site wide improvement activity. Responsibilities will vary depending on your level of experience but typically include:
• Leading or supporting process upgrades, equipment modifications and automation projects
• Driving efficiency, quality and reliability improvements across manufacturing lines
• Working functionally with operations, maintenance and CI teams
• Supporting the introduction of new technology and process enhancements
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements
These roles suit engineers who enjoy problem-solving, influencing change and working within a dynamic FMCG or process-driven environment.

What you'll need to succeed

Applications are welcomed from engineers with varying levels of experience. Ideally, you will have:
• Background in FMCG, automated manufacturing, or process engineering
• Experience delivering engineering improvements, process development or capital projects
• Strong analytical approach with the ability to identify, diagnose and resolve issues
• Confident communication skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional setting
