In-house Probate Solicitors – Associate / Senior Associate / Lead roles in Bristol

Your new firm
Our client is looking for experienced Probate Solicitors to join their specialist Probate team within their developing Legal Services team.

Your new role
This role involves managing a varied caseload of probate matters from start to finish, with a strong client-focused approach to meeting targets. As a key team member, you'll handle cases of differing complexity using a case management system and AI-enabled legal technology, which is being fully integrated into estate administration processes through 2025.
You’ll engage with clients primarily via telephone and email, collaborate with expert colleagues to enhance your legal skills, and receive administrative support. The role also includes mentoring junior team members, ensuring accurate case documentation, and contributing to the continued growth and innovation of the probate team.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will be a skilled and client-focused probate Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive, holding recognised legal qualifications such as CILEX, STEP, or equivalent experience in probate law. With proven expertise in handling complex probate matters from start to finish, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment thanks to your proactive mindset and sharp organisational skills.
Your strengths will include clear communication, the ability to build strong client relationships remotely, and a collaborative spirit – especially when mentoring junior colleagues. Confident in using legal technology and AI tools, you’ll ensure accuracy and efficiency while continuing to grow your legal expertise with the support of a knowledgeable team.

What you’ll get in return
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a well-regarded Private Client team, recognised for its empathetic service and specialist knowledge in Probate law. The role presents the chance to contribute meaningfully within a principles-based organisation that champions equity, transparency, and strong community ties.
Offering a highly adaptable working model – with generous remote flexibility and hybrid options – this role is ideal for both full-time and part-time legal professionals, whether you're established locally or seeking a shift toward a more harmonious lifestyle. You’ll enjoy continuous professional growth, tailored mentoring, and a nurturing team environment, along with a competitive pension plan and exclusive client perks.

What you need to do now If you are interested in this role or are looking for further information, please do not hesitate to contact us. If this job isn’t right for you but you are looking for a new job, please feel free to get in touch for a confidential discussion on your career. We would expect a lawyer with the given PQE to have gained the level of experience required, but this does not preclude applications from those with more or less PQE.
