Private Client Tax Manager - Top 100 firm

  • A London-based accountancy firm with a strong reputation in private client work.
  • The role is part of a strategic expansion of the existing private client team.
Your new role
  • Manage a portfolio of complex private clients in collaboration with client-facing partners.
  • Handle both compliance and advisory matters, including identifying planning opportunities.
  • Prepare tax returns personally for your portfolio.
  • Provide technical support and review work of junior team members.
  • Occasionally assist senior colleagues with advisory projects.
  • No staff management responsibilities.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Self-starter with an enquiring mind and proactive approach.
  • Strong technical tax knowledge; CTA preferred but not essential.
  • Experience with private client OMB issues (e.g. shareholder and employment tax).
  • UK trust experience and understanding of accounts are highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with international tax issues (residence, domicile, new regime) is a plus.
