I’m working with a lovely primary school in the Harrogate area who are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team as soon as possible. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a Reception setting and thrives in a warm, nurturing environment.
About the Role
This is a short-term placement to begin immediately, lasting for a minimum of three weeks, with the potential for the booking to be extended depending on need.

- Supporting pupils in a Reception class
- A mixture of morning sessions and full-day cover
- Assisting with child-led play, early phonics, and classroom routines
- Helping to create a positive, engaging and supportive learning environment

- Experience working in EYFS or a primary school setting
- A nurturing, supportive and proactive approach
- Someone who can quickly build rapport with young children
- Flexibility to work a mixture of mornings and full days
- A positive team player with good communication skills
