Your new role
As a Primary Supply Teacher in Telford, you will work with a variety of schools in the Telford and Wrekin local authority, supporting pupils in Nursery, Reception, KS1, and/or KS2 settings - wherever you have the experience and passion to teach. We can offer:
- Advanced bookings as well as same day cover
- Full day or half day assignments (AM or PM)
- Short term daily supply
- Long term roles, ranging from a minimum of 2 weeks to the remainder of the academic year
Whether you are newly qualified, returning to teaching, or an experienced practitioner seeking flexibility, Hays will work with you to secure placements that match your availability and expertise.
What you'll need to succeed
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- A DBS on the Update Service, or the willingness to complete a new DBS application
- Recent experience teaching in a UK primary setting and being able to provide school based references
- Strong and effective behaviour management and classroom practice
- A positive, flexible, proactive approach to working across different schools
