Year 3/4 Teacher Required


A friendly and welcoming primary school in Hemsworth is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 3/4 Teacher to join the school for a three-week placement, covering a staff sickness absence.

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who can quickly establish positive relationships and maintain high standards of teaching and learning. We welcome applications from newly qualified teachers completing their teacher training this summer, Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced primary teachers looking for short-term work.

The Role:

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a mixed Year 3/4 class, delivering engaging lessons that inspire and motivate pupils while ensuring continuity of learning during the teacher's absence. You will work closely with supportive colleagues and school leaders to provide a positive and productive learning environment.


We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds, or is on track to achieve, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Can plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
  • Demonstrates effective classroom management skills
  • Is adaptable, enthusiastic and committed to raising pupil achievement
  • Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to school life
