Your new school

Hays Education are working in partnership with a number of welcoming and well‑established primary schools across Worcester, and we are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Teachers to join our supply pool. Whether you are seeking flexible day‑to‑day work or longer‑term placements, we can offer a range of opportunities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Your new role

As a Hays Primary Supply Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across a variety of year groups
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and routines
  • Maintain positive behaviour and create a supportive learning atmosphere
  • Follow school policies and ensure safeguarding is upheld at all times
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and school leaders

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive as a Supply Teacher, you should possess a solid understanding of the primary school National Curriculum, enabling you to effectively teach across various year groups. Success in this role requires flexibility, confidence in adapting to different teaching methods and environments, and the ability to set high expectations with a positive outlook.

You should be:
  • Eager to make a positive impact
  • Skilled at engaging and enthusing pupils in their learning
  • Knowledgeable about assessment, feedback, and differentiation
  • Recent teaching experience within the last five years
  • Hold a QTS, PGCE, or ECT qualification
