Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Job in Newham, East London. Competitive Salary. January 2026 Start.
Location: Newham
Contract: Part time, Fixed Term (6 months), Term time only
Salary: £12,054–£12,226 actual (FTE £28,616–£29,025)
Hours: 17.5 per week (Mon–Fri, 12pm–3:30pm)
Start Date: January 2026
Your new role
This Primary School is seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team on a fixed-term basis from January. Working afternoons Monday to Friday, you will support pupils with additional needs, helping them access learning, develop confidence, and thrive within the school environment.
