An excellent opportunity has arisen for a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in South London. You will be working 1:1 with pupils with autism and ADHD, supporting communication, emotional regulation and classroom engagement.
The Role:
- Provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with ASD/ADHD
- Assist with structured and play‑based learning
- Use strategies such as PECs/Makaton (advantageous)
- Work closely with class teachers and SENDCo
- Promote positive behaviour and inclusion
You Will Need:
- Previous primary school SEN experience
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children
