Primary Instructor (Unqualified Teacher) – Opportunities Across Oldham

Are you completing your BA (Hons) in Primary Education this year? Have you finished your final teaching placement and are now working on your dissertation? Looking to gain paid classroom experience before starting your ECT year?

If you're based in Oldham, this is an excellent opportunity to step confidently into the classroom.

About the Role
We are working closely with a number of primary schools across Oldham who are keen to welcome enthusiastic, committed and skilled Primary Instructors (Unqualified Teachers).

This role is ideal for trainee teachers who:
  • Have completed their final assessed placement
  • Are currently finishing their dissertation
  • Are confident delivering pre‑planned lessons
  • Want to strengthen classroom experience before entering their ECT year
As a Primary Instructor, you will:
  • Lead pre-prepared lessons across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
  • Maintain a calm, engaging and positive learning environment
  • Support pupils’ academic progress and wellbeing
  • Work flexibly across different Oldham primary schools
  • Gain meaningful, paid classroom experience to enhance your teaching profile
What We’re Looking For
  • Currently completing a BA (Hons) in Primary Education
  • Completed your final teaching placement
  • Confident in behaviour management and classroom routines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about supporting pupils in Oldham schools
