Primary Instructor (Unqualified Teacher) Opportunities – Bury

Are you completing your BA (Hons) in Primary Education this year? Have you finished your final placement and are now working on your dissertation? Looking to gain paid classroom experience before starting your ECT year?

If you're based in Bury or the surrounding areas, this is a perfect opportunity to take your next step.

About the Role:
We are supporting a number of primary schools across Bury who are looking to appoint enthusiastic, confident and committed Primary Instructors (Unqualified Teachers).

This role is ideal for trainee teachers who:
  • Have completed their final assessed teaching placement
  • Are currently finishing their dissertation
  • Want to continue building classroom experience ahead of their ECT year
  • Can confidently step into a class and lead learning with prepared lesson plans
As a Primary Instructor, you will:
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
  • Create a calm, positive learning environment
  • Support pupils academically, socially and emotionally
  • Work flexibly across schools in the Bury area
  • Build confidence and skills that give you an advantage when applying for ECT roles
What We’re Looking For
  • Completing a BA (Hons) Primary Education degree (or equivalent)
  • Completed your final placement in a primary setting
  • Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills
  • Enthusiastic about supporting pupils across Bury
  • Reliable, confident and professional
