Your new role

As a KS1/KS2 Primary Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping young minds through engaging and creative teaching.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering differentiated lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupil wellbeing and academic progress.
  • Assessing and tracking pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
  • Contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and school initiatives.
This role offers flexibility with opportunities for full-time, part-time, and long-term placements depending on your availability and career goals.

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching in KS1 or KS2, with strong classroom management skills.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to pupil development.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive and reflective approach to teaching and learning.
Experience with SEND or EAL pupils is highly desirable, and ongoing CPD support is available to help you develop in these areas.
