Pricing Analyst

Pricing Analyst – Own the Numbers, Shape the Strategy

Are you a spreadsheet-savvy detective with a knack for spotting patterns and solving puzzles? Join us as a Pricing Assistant and become the heartbeat of our commercial engine. You’ll dive into the data, decode supplier changes, and help shape pricing strategies that drive business success.
This isn’t just about numbers—it’s about impact. You’ll be the go-to expert for managing supplier-led price changes, ensuring our products are priced accurately, competitively, and profitably. From building sleek pricing templates for Directors to running ERP checks and flagging discontinuations, you’ll keep our pricing watertight and future-ready.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Mastering Supplier Price Changes
  • Match SKUs, apply terms, and flag discontinuations like a pricing ninja.
  • Create crystal-clear reports that fuel negotiations and re-sourcing decisions.
  • Build pricing templates that help Directors reprice with confidence.
  • Import and validate pricing in our ERP system—pre- and post-checks included.
  • Capture supplier quirks and document them for future wins.
  • Keep records, spreadsheets, and trackers sharp and up-to-date.
  • Proactively engage suppliers to stay ahead of upcoming changes.

Owning and Elevating Processes
  • Take full ownership of recurring pricing tasks—accurate, timely, and error-free.
  • Spot issues before they snowball with smart, common-sense checks.
  • Learn from failures, build safety nets, and improve documentation.
  • Streamline templates, reports, and workflows to make life easier.
  • Communicate process updates clearly across the team.

Growing Into a Strategic Role
  • Once you’ve nailed the pricing engine, you’ll level up:
    • Implement pricing tools
    • Build reporting dashboards
    • Support commercial decision-making

What You Bring
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (VLOOKUPs and formulas are your playground).
  • Eagle-eyed attention to detail—errors don’t stand a chance.
  • Organised multitasker who thrives on deadlines.
  • Logical thinker with investigative instincts.
  • Quick learner who turns past lessons into future wins.
  • Confident communicator with suppliers and teammates.
  • Tech-savvy and curious about new tools.
  • Ambitious and proactive—ready to build a career in pricing and data.
  • Bonus: commercial awareness or pricing knowledge (but we’ll teach you if you’re keen!).

What We Offer
  • Flexible working hours (start and finish between 8 am and 6:30 pm)
  • Generous annual leave
  • Remote working budget + all the tech you need
  • Hybrid flexibility: work from our fantastic office or from home
  • Company-wide commitment to learning and development
  • Friendly, collaborative culture built on ownership and transparency
  • Regular team and company-wide socials
  • No corporate dress code—come as you are
This is your chance to turn spreadsheets into strategy and data into decisions. Ready to make pricing your superpower?
Ideally need to be able to drive as the role is on Christchurch airport.
