Your new school:

At Hays, we are seeking a committed PPA class teacher that is available from September 2025 and based within the Worcester and/or Redditch area. The ideal teacher for this PPA class teacher role will be able to confidently manage a classroom and be able to deliver pre-planned lessons whilst creating an engaging learning environment.

Your new role:

For your new job as a PPA teacher, it is essential that you will be available from September 2025 either on a part-time or full-time basis and be based within the Worcester/Redditch area. As part of your role as a PPA teacher, you will be covering a range of different year groups from reception-year 6. Some of your roles and responsibilities as a PPA class teacher include:

  • Being able to confidently deliver pre-planned lessons
  • Effectively manage a classroom
  • Adapt to different teaching methods across different year groups
  • Being able to adhere to the school’s behaviour policy
  • Being adaptable and flexible
  • Providing feedback for children through marking and feedback
  • Promote good behaviour
What you need to succeed:

To be successful as a PPA class teacher, it is essential that you can confidently teach across different year groups and have a good understanding of the school’s national curriculum. You will need to be adaptable and flexible in delivering pre-planned lessons and in an engaging and creative way, whilst being able to effectively manage classroom behaviour. To thrive in this as a PPA class teacher, it is essential that you organise and have strong communication skills with staff, parents and pupils, ensuring that each child is making the correct academic progress.

The perfect teacher for this role will want to make a real difference within the classroom and be available to start from September 2025.
