Your new company
Hays education are proudly working in partnership with an amazing single form entry school on the Wirral who are on the lookout for a PPA cover teacher to join their team on a part-time basis (2 days per week). The right person must be able to flexibly work across KS1&KS2.
Your new role
Your new role is vital in maintaining continuity for pupils' learning and ensuring that teachers have the time they need to fulfil their planning, preparation and assessment duties effectively. As a PPA cover teacher your duties will include but not be limited too;
- Delivering engaging preplanned lessons provided by the class teacher
- To ensure effective teaching of all pupils both inside and outside the classroom
- Mark and monitor pupils' work and set targets for progress
- To promote good behaviour and discipline within the policies and procedures of the school
- Communicating effectively with the class teachers to ensure continuity and progression
What you’ll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you will need to have:
- Qualified teacher status.
- Experience of delivering up-to-date curriculum.
- Be able to flexibly work across key stage 2
- An up-to-date DBS or willingness to get one
- The ability to provide an inspiring, engaging and safe learning environment.
