New contract job for an experienced Power Platform and Azure Architect
You will be working for a global leader in biotech and animal genetics innovation. They're not just shaping the future of agriculture — they're delivering science with purpose. To be considered for this contract, you will be an experienced Architect with deep knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Azure services. You will be able to demonstrate and evidence the delivery of at least two enterprise-scale Power Platform and/or Azure solutions. Experienced with APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations (e.g., Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus). Familiarity with data privacy, compliance, and performance optimisation in cloud environments. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work in agile and cross-functional environments. Ideally you will hold Microsoft Certification. Preferably you will have a background in pre-sales engineering or consulting. Experience with Dynamics 365 integration. Familiarity with industry-specific compliance (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001). Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).

The Microsoft Power Platform & Azure Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising scalable, secure, and effective solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Azure services. This role bridges the gap between business needs and IT capabilities, ensuring that solutions support digital transformation, automation, and integration strategies across the organisation. Analyse business requirements and translate them into robust Power Platform and Azure-based solutions. Design system architectures leveraging Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and related services. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security, and compliance requirements. Lead the integration of Power Platform solutions with other enterprise systems (e.g., Dynamics 365 F&O, CE, SharePoint, custom APIs). Oversee data migration, solution upgrades, and implementation of new modules or features.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless deployment and adoption. Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to gather requirements and define solution roadmaps. Present architectural solutions in an accessible language to non-technical stakeholders. Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the solution lifecycle. Ensure solutions meet security, performance, and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR). Document architectural decisions, workflows, and technical guidelines. Partner with the Power Platform Technical Lead and key IT stakeholders, including Architecture, Platform, Infrastructure, and Operations to define and implement best practices for developing and deploying solutions across Power Platform and Azure.
