Power BI Developer
£550 a day (Inside IR35)
4 days onsite (Sheffield) and 1 at Home
2-3 months initially

Role Overview
We are looking for a Power BI Developer to enhance reporting and business intelligence across EFM. The role focuses on improving dashboards, data pipelines, and insight generation to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review and improve campus KPIs and dashboards across key forums (Executive, Operational, Risk, IMS, etc.)
  • Build and maintain Power BI reports and visualisations
  • Develop and support data pipelines, integrating sources such as Planon, Google tools, and SQL
  • Collaborate with the central BI team on data architecture and AWS cloud migration.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and alignment with business priorities.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and advanced analytics (AI, predictive modelling)
  • Support governance processes, including risk and compliance reporting.
Key Skills & Experience
Essential
  • Strong Power BI experience (DAX, Power Query)
  • SQL and data modelling expertise
  • Experience integrating multiple data sources.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and analytical skills
Desirable
  • AWS or cloud BI experience
  • Exposure to AI / advanced analytics
  • Experience with Planon or similar systems
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks
