Political Violence & Terrorism Account Handler – Lloyd’s Broker - city/hybrid

Due to growth of the Political Violence & Terrorism Team a permanent job for an Account Handler has arisen.


Your new role

Your new role working as a Political Violence & Terrorism Account Handler means you will be supporting the Broking Team in the co-ordination of placements as well as having client contact and slip production. Duties will include producing documentation to assist placement and maintenance throughout the risk life cycle (Underwriting Submissions, Market Reform Contracts, Wordings, Endorsements), ensuring accounts are serviced from cradle to grave and working with Brokers to identify and qualify opportunities for business development. Further duties will also include developing and maintaining an active relationship with clients, resolving all queries to a satisfactory level, ensuring evidence of good service and compliance is maintained, up-to-date working knowledge of regulatory requirements and encouraging collaboration within the team and other divisional units.


What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience working as a Political Violence & Terrorism Account Handler will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have attention to detail, good persuasive and influencing skills, excellent IT & organisational skills, an ability to meet deadlines with good organisation and time management skills. You will be client facing and customer focused with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, able to anticipate problems in advance, be proactive and always looking to deliver a better service and be able to communicate clearly with the team and others.
