Policy and Engagement Officer, Hybrid working, 18-month contract and based in Belfast

Your new role
As a Policy and Engagement Officer, you will play a crucial role in a dedicated project aimed at modernising legislation and regulatory practices. Reporting directly to the Head of Regulation Strategy and Education, you will be involved in policy development, public consultation, and engagement with industry experts. Your responsibilities will include drafting and revising regulatory standards, conducting public consultations, and developing new guidelines. You will also support the creation of high-quality public consultation materials and manage social media and website activities.
What you'll need to succeed
A degree or equivalent qualification.
At least two years of experience in a public-facing or public sector organisation.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Experience of developing published documents.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Good working knowledge of the Health and Social Care system in Northern Ireland.
