Mobile Plumber – NHS Mental Health Sites (Central Sussex
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Plumber to support a network of NHS sites across Central Sussex, primarily focused on delivering mental health care. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who values both technical excellence and a considerate approach to sensitive environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out plumbing maintenance, repairs, and installations across multiple NHS facilities.
- Respond to reactive and planned works with professionalism and care.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and NHS protocols.
- Communicate effectively with site staff and patients, maintaining discretion and empathy.
✅ Requirements:
- Proven experience in plumbing (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent preferred).
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle required for the first 12 weeks.
- Ability to work independently and manage a mobile schedule.
- Respectful and considerate approach, especially within mental health care settings.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
