Essex Plumber
Plumber – Permanent, Full Time
Location: Basildon, Essex
We are looking for skilled and motivated Plumbers to join our established team in Basildon. If you take pride in delivering high‑quality repairs and excellent customer service, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Plumber within our property services team, you will:
- Carry out a wide range of plumbing repairs and maintenance across our properties.
- Demonstrate the ability to multi-skill beyond your core trade, which may include minor building work, drainage repairs, and groundworks.
- Use a handheld device to receive and complete jobs (full training provided).
- Work efficiently, professionally, and safely, ensuring a first‑class customer experience.
- Participate in an out‑of‑hours rota as required.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in a similar plumbing/repairs role.
- The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and safely operate small hand tools.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
- The ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ideally, experience working in social housing or local authority environments.
Qualifications
- City & Guilds Craft or Level 2 in a relevant trade (or equivalent).
- JIB‑PMES Blue CSCS Card, or working towards obtaining one.
- Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months (a company van is provided for work use).
