Platform Engineer (SC Cleared)

6‑Month Contract | Remote | Inside IR35

We are currently recruiting for two experienced Platform Engineers to join a large‑scale programme, working fully remotely. This role requires strong hands‑on experience across Azure, automation and Infrastructure as Code, and would suit someone who is confident operating in a fast‑paced delivery environment.

Your new role

You will be responsible for building, maintaining and improving cloud platform services, with a focus on automation, security and best‑practice engineering. Working as part of a wider technical team, you will support the delivery of scalable and secure Azure environments.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have proven experience in a similar role, with strong capability across:

Terraform (IaC)
Azure DevOps – pipeline configuration and CI/CD
Azure services – networking, Databricks, storage, IAM, VMs
Containerisation – Docker / Docker‑Compose
Security tooling – image/filesystem scanning (Trivy)
Scripting – Bash (Python desirable)
Version control – Azure DevOps
Active SC Clearance is essential.
