Platform Engineer - £700 Per Day Inside IR35 - 6 month rolling contract – Hybrid (London)
Your new role
My client is looking for a Platform Engineer to support and enhance the infrastructure used by our Penetration Testing team. You’ll build and improve an AWS‑hosted platform that enables external pen testers, with a focus on automation, reliability, and new feature development.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience enhancing and maintaining AWS infrastructure for security/pen‑testing workloads
- Ability to deploy and configure Apache Guacamole, including SSO setup, for secure VM access
- Strong automation skills using Terraform, Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, and Python
- Experience improving and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Solid AWS background
- Exposure to security or penetration testing environments
- Experience with Guacamole or similar remote‑access platforms
- Networking tools experience is an advantage
