Platform Engineer (Build & Release) - Public Sector - initial 3 month contract - £550pd inside IR35 - Remote

Your new role

You will lead on designing, implementing, and optimising the build and release ecosystem across cloud‑hosted environments.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Active SC Clearance Required
  • Strong background in Platform Engineering within cloud environments.
  • Expertise in AWS and modern cloud architecture.
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes (preferably EKS) and container orchestration.
  • Proficiency in IaC tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or similar.
  • Experience with DevSecOps, GitHub Actions, automated security checks, and version control.
  • Solid understanding of Artifactory (binary management) and SonarQube (code quality).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive, team‑oriented mindset with a passion for automation and continuous improvement.
