Platform Engineer (Build & Release) - Public Sector - initial 3 month contract - £550pd inside IR35 - Remote

Your new role

You will lead on designing, implementing, and optimising the build and release ecosystem across cloud‑hosted environments.

What you'll need to succeed

Active SC Clearance Required
Strong background in Platform Engineering within cloud environments.
Expertise in AWS and modern cloud architecture.
Strong understanding of Kubernetes (preferably EKS) and container orchestration.
Proficiency in IaC tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or similar.
Experience with DevSecOps, GitHub Actions, automated security checks, and version control.
Solid understanding of Artifactory (binary management) and SonarQube (code quality).
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Proactive, team‑oriented mindset with a passion for automation and continuous improvement.
