Freelance Planner Role – Outside IR35 - Long Term Contract

Your new company

You will be joining an industry leading sub-contractor within the Civil Engineering industry who work on the Suffolk County Council Highway maintenance contract specialising in street lighting, traffic sign and traffic bollard design, installation and maintenance.

Your new role

You will be responsible for reviewing test sheets and work information surveys whilst managing the production, including H&S, handover and other required paperwork. Oversee the installation of the street lighting aspects of motorway and highway schemes. You will be using P6 and MS project whilst regularly updating programmes and drafting Clause 31 and Clause 23 submissions.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed, you will have experience working on street lighting projects previously as a Planner which will involve the installation and maintenance of said street lighting. You will have planned works for this sector. In addition to this, you will be competent using P6 and MS Project as well as be able to produce a programme from first principles.
