Supply Physics Teacher – Start After Easter

Location: Birmingham
Start Date: After the Easter break
Contract: Full-time supply position
Subject: Physics (KS3–KS4)

We are seeking a committed and inspirational Physics Teacher to join a high-performing secondary school in Birmingham after Easter. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate specialist who can deliver engaging science lessons, support student progress, and make a strong contribution to a well‑established Science faculty.

About the Role

Teach Physics across KS3 and KS4
Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with school and curriculum expectations
Foster a positive learning environment that promotes curiosity and critical thinking
Work collaboratively within a strong, supportive Science department
Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and school policies consistently

The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Physics and general Science
Confident classroom management and the ability to inspire learners
Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to high standards in teaching and learning
Able to build rapport with students and staff alike
