Temporary Personal Assistant Role

A well‑established private sector business based in Perth is seeking an experienced Personal Assistant/Senior Administrator. Working in a busy, deadline-driven environment, you’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly. Accuracy, organisation and confident communication are essential in this fast-paced setting. This position is on a temporary to permanent basis.

Your new role

As Personal Assistant, you will provide high‑level administrative, organisational and coordination support. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing inbox and diary activity, ensuring effective prioritisation and coordination of meetings.

  • Updating internal systems on project progress and information.

  • Preparing and running regular reports.

  • Coordinating IT and access requirements for new starters.

  • Supporting external event planning and logistics, such as organising training.

  • Liaising with internal teams, site staff and external stakeholders to provide clear updates and information.

  • Assisting with HR related tasks such as monitoring absences, ensuring compliance documentation is up-to-date, and following up on right‑to‑work evidence.

  • Handling a range of ad hoc administrative and operational tasks as required.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in a PA, senior administrator or coordination role.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Confidence using digital systems and maintaining accurate records and data.
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism when dealing with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A solutions‑focused mindset and willingness to support wider teams when needed.
