Your new company

We are seeking an organised, proactive, and highly professional Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to two members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) within a higher education setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled administrator or PA to work at the heart of a dynamic academic environment, ensuring the smooth running of executive operations during a busy period.

Your new role

This is an important role within the university structure. Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Provide comprehensive diary management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the SLT members, handling queries with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgement.
  • Prepare high-quality documentation including agendas, minutes, presentations, and briefing papers.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodation, and event logistics as required.
  • Support project administration and follow‑up actions, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Maintain accurate records, manage confidential information, and uphold data protection standards at all times.
  • Work closely with other PAs and administrative staff to ensure effective cross‑team collaboration.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be available to commence a role immediately and will be able to commit to the 3-month assignment. You will also –

  • Previous experience in a PA, Executive Assistant, or senior administrative role – preferably within a large, complex organisation.
  • Exceptional organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • A proactive, flexible, and solution‑focused approach to work.

What you'll get in return

You will get the opportunity to work for one of the leading Higher Education providers in the country and work with some extremely experienced peers and Directors. This is a hybrid role, and you will be required to work in the office 3–4 days a week depending on business needs. There is parking on site and the role is to start immediately.
