Your new role

As Group Secretary / Personal Assistant, you will provide comprehensive support to a senior executive and leadership team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the executive office. Duties will include complex diary management, coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and board papers, taking minutes, managing correspondence and organising travel arrangements.

You will act as a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, building strong working relationships and ensuring effective communication across the organisation. The role will also involve maintaining confidential records and governance documentation, supporting board and committee activities, coordinating corporate events and providing administrative support for strategic projects and initiatives.

In addition, you will assist with the preparation of reports, presentations and briefing materials whilst ensuring all information is handled with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.


What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience supporting senior executives in a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant capacity.
  • Experience supporting senior leadership teams, boards or governance functions.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and compliance requirements.
  • Experience working within a regulated or complex organisational environment.
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a professional approach to stakeholder management.
  • The ability to work independently, use initiative and remain calm under pressure.
  • A degree in Business Administration or a related discipline and/or a professional governance or company secretarial qualification would be advantageous.
