Your new role
- Acting as the first point of contact for all communications to senior leadership.
- Managing complex diaries and scheduling meetings.
- Handling correspondence, telephone calls, and email enquiries with professionalism.
- Preparing agendas, taking minutes, and coordinating documentation for key internal committees and governance meetings.
- Maintaining accurate records and filing systems (both manual and electronic).
- Supporting the preparation of reports, statistical returns, and responses to external queries.
- Providing cover for other administrative staff during periods of absence.
- Assisting with medical correspondence and triaging queries to appropriate personnel when required.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in a senior administrative or secretarial role, ideally within a public sector or healthcare setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Experience in minute-taking and committee support is highly desirable.
- A commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
