Personal Assistant – Sustainability and Physical Markets (3-Month Contract)

Your new company

You will be working for a global commodities exchange that specialises in the trading of industrial metals.

Your new role

In this role, you will act as Personal Assistant to the Chief Sustainability Officer and Head of Physical Markets, supporting senior leadership and helping keep the wider team organised and on track. Working closely with the Chief of Staff, you will be central to the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the department.
You’ll enjoy a varied workload, gaining exposure across sustainability, physical markets and operational activity. From managing diaries, travel and meetings to supporting reports, presentations and team initiatives, you’ll play a key role in how the function operates. You’ll also help improve processes, maintain records, track budgets and deadlines, and provide all‑round administrative support.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in an administrative, PA or Team Assistant role.
  • Up to 2-3 years' relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in engaging global stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands
  • High proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • A proactive, reliable and collaborative approach, with a willingness to learn and take ownership
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics; a professional administrative qualification is advantageous but not essential

What you'll get in return

You’ll join a respected, international organisation offering a collaborative and inclusive working culture. In return for your contribution, you’ll receive exposure to senior stakeholders, the opportunity to develop knowledge across sustainability and physical markets, and the chance to play a meaningful role within a high‑profile global function.
