Your new company
This good rated primary school, has a SEND unit where children with Autism are supported through their learning journey. The curriculum is wrapped around the students, mixing practical learning and activities that encourage social skills including communication, listening and attention. Initially the students were Reception and Year 1. This has now expanded across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. The school has a supportive and collaborative working ethos, with support from the Trust’s Central Team and access to a range of experts, such as specialists in pupil welfare, SEND and behaviour.

Your new role
  • Paying M1-M6 Fringe £34,398.00 - £46,839.00 Annually
  • Teaching and supporting primary students with Autism
  • Able to create an attractive and stimulating environment that encourages engagement for students
  • Good understanding of primary curriculum and of Autism

What you'll need to succeed
  • Must hold QTS
  • Be happy to teach EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
  • Must have taught in a UK primary school
  • Willingness to complete a DBS check
  • Right to work in the UK
