Permanent Learning Facilitator Job – Make a Real Difference in Education
Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? We’re recruiting for a permanent Learning Facilitator to join a welcoming and inclusive school in the local area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with teaching staff and help pupils overcome challenges, build confidence, and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils individually and in small groups, both in and out of the classroom
- Provide specialist skills and knowledge in areas such as SEND, behaviour, bilingual support, or curriculum subjects
- Assist in lesson planning and supervise classes during a short-term teacher absence.
- Contribute to a safe, happy, and independent learning environment
Essential Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience
- Level 3 Award/Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or similar)
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Experience working with children and supporting their development
- Understanding of child development, learning processes, and school policies
Working Pattern:
- Full-time preferred
- Part-time (3–4 days per week) considered, but you must be able to commit to the full school day on the days you work
