Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 / Level 3) – Permanent
Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
⏰ Hours: Full-time (part-time considered)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Competitive, dependent on qualifications and experience

About the Role:

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join a warm and nurturing nursery team in Cheltenham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Level 2 or Level 3 professional who is passionate about providing high-quality early years education and care.
You will play a key role in supporting children’s development, creating a safe and stimulating environment, and working closely with colleagues and parents to ensure every child thrives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
  • Ensure the nursery environment is safe, secure, and inclusive
  • Promote safeguarding and follow all policies and procedures

About You:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (essential or working towards)
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • A genuine passion for working with young children
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A positive, proactive, and reliable approach
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
