People & Talent Partner (9 month FTC) based in the West of Glasgow

Your new role
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and coordinating recruitment processes
- Overseeing candidate screening and early-stage selection processes
- Ensuring timely feedback, follow-up and progression of candidates
- Planning, monitoring and reporting on recruitment pipelines, proactively identifying and resolving issues
- Identifying and driving improvements to recruitment processes and candidate experience
- Supporting onboarding and induction processes for new hires
- Supporting the development of additional sourcing channels such as university partnerships, LinkedIn, internal referrals and local networks
- Capturing the current state of the workforce and identifying key risks or challenges
- Coordinating training activity (compliance, leadership and technical)
- Supporting manager development across performance, talent and capability management processes
- Providing support on employee relations matters as required
- Supporting team engagement, wellbeing initiatives and team events
- Assisting with reward, recognition and compensation discussions where appropriate
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in a People, HR or Talent role with strong recruitment exposure
- Experience managing relationships with external recruitment partners
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities
- Good understanding of workforce planning, onboarding and people development activities
- Confidence handling employee relations matters
- A collaborative, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
