People Administrator

Overview

As a People Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our staff and volunteers by delivering efficient HR administration. From recruitment and onboarding through to departures, you’ll ensure processes run smoothly, data is accurate, and colleagues receive excellent service.

This is a temporary assignment up to the 19th December, to start on the 24th November. The role is in Poole (BH15 1HZ), parking on site - full time - hybrid working.
£14.20 an hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive and reactive HR administration across the employee and volunteer lifecycle.
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, offering guidance on policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate HR records using Microsoft Dynamics AX - training will be provided on this if you haven't used it.
  • Support process improvements, training, and documentation to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Deliver reports, manage records, and provide admin support for wider People Department projects.
  • Uphold confidentiality, data protection, and the companies values in all tasks.
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work proactively.
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills, with confidence handling queries.
  • Strong IT skills; experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is desirable.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths essential; HR qualification desirable.
