HAYS - Pension officer - Full-time hybrid working - 6 months FTC with opportunity for permanent / extension
Your new company
This public sector central government organisation is looking for a pension officer on a 6-month fixed term basis, to support the wider payroll/hr team. This organisation offers flexible hybrid working across a 37-hour working week, in central Manchester.
Your new role
Within your new role, you will be fully accountable for anything pension related, you will be organised and support with pension queries and calculations, and be the go-to in-house expert on pensions. Reporting to the Payroll manager.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be initiative-led, be proactive and well-organised, have the ability to keep on top of your day-to-day workload and be able to communicate effectively and professionally back to the business regarding any pension updates. This is a new role for the organisation. Therefore, a good work ethic and clear department improvement will be critical to either your contract being extended or made permanent.
