Payroll Supervisor – 6-Month FTC (Full-Time & Part-Time option available)
Are you a detail-driven payroll professional with a passion for precision and a knack for navigating pensions? We’re looking for a Payroll & Pensions Coordinator to join a dynamic organisation on a fixed-term basis for approx 6 months.
In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure the smooth and accurate processing of payroll and pensions for a dedicated workforce. From handling timesheets and salary adjustments to liaising with pension providers and supporting financial reporting, your expertise will help keep operations running seamlessly.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing end-to-end payroll processes including starters, leavers, statutory payments, and deductions
- Coordinating pension submissions and NEST, ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Maintaining detailed payroll records and updating tax codes and pension schemes
- Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to reconcile data and resolve queries
- Supporting month-end and year-end payroll activities and financial reporting
- Handling queries from staff and external agencies with professionalism and discretion
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in payroll processing
- Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 Payroll (desirable)
- Excellent Excel skills and general computer literacy
- High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive financial data
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to work independently and adapt to change with a positive attitude
