This role offers a unique opportunity to work across both freelance and employee payroll functions, supporting operational excellence and compliance.

Your new role

• Preparing weekly Purchase Orders for freelancers based on business inputs
• Assisting in evaluating freelancer tax status
• Tracking onboarding documentation via Shortlist
• Acting as the first point of contact for freelance payroll queries, escalating when necessary
• Supporting the Payroll Supervisor with monthly payroll preparation for SDWorx
• Conducting monthly reconciliations of payroll-related control accounts
• Producing ad hoc reports using Payroll, Integra, and Shortlist systems
• Participating in projects related to freelancer legislation and payroll process improvements

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in payroll administration, ideally with exposure to freelance and employee payroll
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Familiarity with systems such as SDWorx, Integra, and Shortlist (desirable)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively across departments
